Welcome to Allegash!

Sometimes the best things in life start with a mistake like the misspelling of the Allagash river in the North Maine woods that gave our band its name.Here’s a photo of that special place! (Note that our misspelling of Allegash uses an “e” instead of an “a.” We have since discovered that this spelling was used over a century ago by the famous author, Henry David Thoreau so we’re in good company!
